    To be honest, I can’t think of a store outside of the internet, that pays money for every one-of its customers that visits their store.

    Actually, I should change my previous use of the word “customers” to visitors. Because lets face it, not every store visitor pays for your store’s products, so you and I should not call all of them customers.

    that is the main bandwagon advice going around now days to current and aspiring entrepreneurs like you and I. Facebook ads, Facebook ads, Facebook ads; it is the crave and the new hip thing to do.

    So let me ask you again; based on our knowledge of how real-life stores operate outside of the internet, Should we pay for every one of our website visitors in-order-to get sales?

    If you do any type of business whether it’s entirely on the internet or not, and you use the internet to perform marketing, then you are participating in digital marketing.

    The concept, as stated by Mrs. Corcoran is “When do you need it for?”

    To summarize, to me this concept is honing-in on my previous belief that to make a sale, you the seller simply must listen and get out of the way.

    Customers for the most part, know what they want and what they are going to spend money on. Yes, you can do your job, in bringing the awareness of your products and services to your customer but don’t think you are some magical influencer.

    So, when you implement a SEO (search engine optimization) content strategy on your online shop, you are qualifying your customers as I have stated before.

    In addition, the likelihood of converting website sales is much higher because, you have targeted the individuals looking for you and at other times looking to buy something you are offering. This is the concept of hot traffic vs cold traffic.

    If you target hot traffic to your website using content marketing, you are essentially following my golden nugget rule.

    Lower costs because content marketing is free. Higher profits because this SEO content strategy is evergreen and converts sales without a cost like Facebook ads. This should be the standard for your website conversion strategy that is focused on increasing your online store’s profit margins.  

     

    HOW TO RETAIN YOUR BEST AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS WITH CONTENT MARKETING?

    Customer retention is an especially important concept for your marketing plan as an ecommerce business owner.  This is how you make repeated sales (increase in website conversations) at the lowest cost and improvise your marketing plan with solid predictions as to how your businesses will operate financially in the long run.

    For example: if you have two similar businesses (providing the same products and services at the same cost) the difference that would put one over the other is the amount of repeated sales the business conducts from loyal customers.
